Personality[]
Sebastian has shown himself to be pretentious and confrontational, yet extremely insecure. He demonstrates an inability to properly communicate with women, which eventually drives him to become deeply misogynistic and angry that he is not provided with the sexual encounters he feels he deserves. Sebastian, partially because of his "nerdy" demeanor, appears to be generally socially inexperienced, leading to most of his public interactions being uncomfortable or even humiliating, for him and those around him.
Appearance[]
Sebastian displays the major characteristics of the stereotypical computer geek. Lean in stature, wearing glasses, and bland in terms of clothing, Sebastian blends in well amongst tech-savvy millennials.
Character Biography[]
Originally serving as an IT consultant to the eccentric actor and writer Byron Duke, Sebastian would be fired from this position and banned from the premises after it was revealed that he was hacking Duke's virtual assistant. Preying on Duke's emotional instability, Sebastian had caused him to believe there was a technology-bound demon named Joe manifesting itself to him. This was done in retaliation to a disagreement with Duke over him withholding Sebastian's pay until Sebastian could demonstrate quality work. It was David Acosta's contracted tech consultant, Ben Shakir, who had discovered the nature of the situation and consequently revealed Sebastian as the bitter mastermind of this allegedly demonic occurrence.
Some time after the Byron Duke incident, Sebastian had tried to ask out a female barista that he had incorrectly deduced as having a crush on him. Unsuccessful in this romantic endeavor, and visibly humiliated, Sebastian's now increased anger against women would be the perfect opportunity for demonic operative Dr. Leland Townsend to manipulate him to the will of the 60.
Townsend, capitalizing on Sebastian's issues with women and sexuality, would introduce him to Incel (Involuntary Celibate) culture, a culture that Sebastian immediately invested himself in due to finally being able to relate to other "oppressed" young men like him. Townsend would serve as Sebastian's mentor throughout his indoctrination, which consisted of the concept of "destroying" the old self to become a new being, not restrained by the lies of women and society. While Sebastian vehemently agreed with Townsend's earlier "motivational" talks, he became uncomfortable as Townsend began to introduce the idea of actual violence. However, using his extensive psychological expertise, and possibly supernatural influence, Townsend would eventually convince Sebastian that the only effective final step in the process of "redeeming" himself would be to carry out a mass shooting in a women-only gym. This was partially a ploy, though, as Townsend would reveal the true target to Sebastian at the last second: David Acosta's prayer group.
Sebastian, after being provided with a rifle, handguns, and ammunition, prepared himself for the massacre, or as Leland Townsend put it, the "slaughter". However, due to his rushed firearms training, or perhaps an act of God, Sebastian would accidentally discharge a pistol, the stray bullet killing him before he even left his bedroom where he had laid out his weapons kit. Dr. Townsend, after seeing the news report of Sebastian's accidental death, would become enraged that he had invested his time and the 60's resources into conditioning Sebastian to become a mass shooter, only for the plan to fall short due to Sebastian's stupidity.
