Numbers are included in the names of each episode of the first season of Evil. In an interview, showrunner Robert King confirmed that these numbers are one of the clues to a puzzle.[1]

Adding the numbers[]
Following some speculation from fans as to the meaning of these numbers and how to use them, the official Evil Twitter account posted a tweet with a video in which the numbers are added up, with the result 974.[2] This number may be used as a clue with another puzzle.
